Laurie PK: Hello again! You do not open these templates in WordPress – just double click on the index file (index.html). And you can edit the template with your favorite text editor (for examle WordPad) – right click on the index file and choose open with WordPad (or Notes).
The stylesheet is in the same folder as the template (and it has the name “Style”).
To get the template out on the Internet, you use a FTP software – FileZilla is a good and free software you can use and you find it HERE. Just choose a template, edit and upload the whole folder to your server.
I’m getting it! You can create your landing page in a Word document and it becomes a webpage…but how do you get it to the internet?
I was trying to open the landing pages in WordPress…but I’m beginning to think that’s wrong.
What program do I use to create the landing page? And, how do I get it on the internet? I guess I need a tutorial…

Boy, am I ever missing something….where is the stylesheet? I unzipped the templates, can’t find the stylesheet there…
Laurie PK: Hello Laurie, did you upload the stylesheet to your server? If not, upload the stylesheet (style.css) to the same folder where you have the template.

Your templates are lovely designed and the way you placed the infos and areas on the page is the proof that you did the work with great knowledge.
If I may suggest you something for you next landing pages, it would be great to have a form, in the top right area of the page, in which users can enter name and email address to subscribe to the website.
An area, at the top left side of the website designed to host a video too, would be the non plus ultra. Meanwhile, thanks for sharing your work, much appreciated.
Kristie Prinz: Well, do you know how to edit them? Do you need help to upload the templates to your server? Perhaps you could tell more exactly what you need help with.
Is there anyone on this site who could inexpensively set up a template on a domain? I don’t quite know what to do with these files once I download them.

I have three things that I am promoting one that I am excited about is postcardsrule.com I went on a site called ezleadcapture but I have know idea how to design the page. It’s like a battle between the polished highly graphical cpa style landing pages vs. this clean, more copy orientated style. I’ve had some good success with this type of copy orientated style.

Abs: I suspect your problem is with images and image paths.
1. When you open the zipped folder with the templates you should see 6 folders. Open the Image folder and copy the necessary images to your templates image folder.
2. Change the image path in the HTML code.
EXAMPLE
change this: img src=”../../Images/buynow7/2.jpg”
to this: img src=”images/buynow7/2.jpg”

After downloading the zip, You need to uncompress (unzip) it – If You have problems with uncompressing (unzip) the file, You could try an online tool like WobZip.org
