I can tell you my experience, I had installed on my pc I got avast antivirus free virus, avast recognized him but could not remove it, then I tried other antivirus but to no avail, now I was formatting my pc, and a My friend installed kaspersky internet security, and to my surprise was able to remove that damned virus, preferred to pay by then and I honestly think that Kaspersky antivirus is really the best!
I’m sorry but I totally disagree.
All people shouldn’t install anti-viruses, only those who don’t know how to use a computer.
You cannot randomly get a virus if you don’t execute any weird looking file or by simply being connected to the Internet.
Of all the ones you’ve mentioned I would recommend Kaspersky the most, I have always found the heuristics engine to be the most advanced and it seem’s to detect a lot of stuff that most other AV’s will miss (especially Norton!).
