SketchPad WordPress Theme by ThemeSheep
Yet another impressive and functional WordPress theme by ThemeSheep. SketchPad is a free two column WordPress 3.0 compatible theme with ten colors schemes and extensive customization options – including very flexible post layout options for the home page.
Update 011711: The SketchPad WordPress theme is not available for free anymore.
The theme feels well designed with a lot of details that make it appealing and functional. One such detail is the Related Articles feature that blends in nice and discretely to the rest of the theme – and doesn’t look cheapo as related articles features sometimes do.
The option pages of SketchPad WP theme (or ThemeSheep Control Panel) allow close enough all of the theme’s major options to be easily changed, and also feature Theme Update Alerts which automatically check to see if your SketchPad theme is up-to-date.
From the option pages you can for example add your media links (Twitter with latest Tweet function in the header, Facebook, RSS, Feedburner) and Google analytics code, custom CSS and CSS3 effects. Below you have a preview of the theme option pages.
The SketchPad WordPress theme is created with entirely valid XHTML. The cool optional CSS3 effects (shadows and rounded corners) are not W3C valid (but so attractive).

Nice theme I’m gonna use it on my next site. I loved the layout and design of the site. Share it to each other is my current website and I am constantly conscious of it’s design factor.
