YouTube introduced on Tuesday (August 24th) its new mobile HTML5 website outside the US. According to YouTube the new mobile HTML5 website (m.youtube.com) is faster and more user friendly. Other enhancements are search query suggestions, options to create playlists, and the ability to “favorite,” “like,” or “unlike” videos directly on your device. The US version of the HTML5 site for mobiles was launched in July this year.
The YouTube mobile site presents fantastic statistics – one hour of video is uploaded from a mobile every minute, and the mobile site itself gets more than 100 million video playbacks each day. And one can assume those numbers will grow with this new site.

Yes this is great news for youtubers like me and I actually find it better than the native Youtube iPhone app they have for navigating and playing and commenting on videos. Cheers Tommy.
