Theme or template releases coded in HTML5 happen frequently nowadays. If someone doubted, that should be an evidence that the new standard in HTML and CSS are here. Two such relatively new releases are WordPress Twenty Eleven theme (although Twenty Eleven is released only for WordPress hosted blogs) and SmashingMagazine’s Yoko theme.
If you have a self-hosted blog and want to test the Twenty Eleven theme, you need to download the WordPress 3.2 Beta package. Or, you could download just the theme from WPVerse – according to them, it seems to work fine on older versions of WordPress 3.x.
Twenty Eleven WordPress Theme
This customizable theme with light to dark color schemes is the default for WordPress in 2011. The theme features three default layouts and seven post formats – you can use it as a traditional blog, or a showcase of all your posts, or even as a tumblelog or photolog.
