This is a list of 30+ (mostly Firefox but also Internet Explorer) browser add-ons for your home office that will help you to make your work a bit easier.

Sometimes daily routines feels very pressing. Today remembering passwords has become almost a full time occupation. But whatever you are – webmaster or Internet marketer – there are ways to handle your tasks more effectively with the help of some browser tools you can download for free. You can transform your browser to an unpaid and effective home office helper.

There are practical add-ons both for Internet Explorer and Firefox, but as you can see, the list of Firefox add-ons is far more extensive than for Internet Explorer because of the simple reason that Firefox has a lot more extensions to choose from. Surely Internet Explorer will have more tools in the close future, but at the moment the list seems poor compared against Firefox.

Wikipedia: An add-on consists of a computer program that interacts with a host application to provide a certain, usually very specific, function “on demand”.

We use Firefox on Cashrevelations.com because of the huge flexibility, and we recommend also others to download and discover Firefox. It will make your work easier and you will have free access to a library with more than 5000 extras that let you customize Firefox to meet your needs. Try Firefox for free HERE.

This is a list of 30+ (mostly Firefox but also Internet Explorer) browser add-ons that will help you to make your work a bit easier and much more effective. They will be a great addition to your virtual home office.

Socialize and Bookmark

Social networks have become more and more important for Internet entrepreneurs for many reasons. They are an excellent platform to present whatever you have to offer and if you are looking for traffic to your site they provide you with targeted quality hits.

With numbers like 300,000,000 registered users for Facebook and 263,920,102 registered users for MySpace it is easy to understand why you should be present there if you are Internet entrepreneur. You can find more about Social Networks HERE.

Bookmarking and Sharing Tools

Fits also to Internet Explorer 8.

The Search Box allows you to search Facebook no matter where you are, icons tell you how many new pokes, friend requests, messages, event and group invitations you have. Share button lets you share the page that you are currently browsing by sending it to friends or posting it to your profile and you can open the Facebook friends sidebar and check out your friends’ statuses, along with convenient links for interacting with them.

According to Wikipedia, a screen capture, or video capture, are images taken over an extended period of time by the computer to record the visible items displayed on the monitor to form a video file.

Screen capture is useful for demonstrating and teaching software features – and is also a useful tool for ordinary software users and Internet marketers, to show others how a given task is accomplished in a specific software environment or for producing appealing product presentations in a cheap way.

Most of the major operating systems have no built-in mechanisms to record videos of the screen, and third party software’s like Camtasia Studio and BB FlashBack can appear like a bit expensive if you don’t make screen capture videos on a regular basis.

But there is an alternative to make an appealing video presentation as cheap as it can be (free) and simple enough for ordinary PC user to learn.

You only need two things: a Firefox Browser and Capture Fox Firefox Add-On. Both are completely free and can be downloaded from the links below.

Improved security is often cited as a reason to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox. Find out why.

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite and managed by Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 21% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of January 2009, making it the second-most popular browser in current use worldwide.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user’s desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include the NoScript JavaScript disabling utility, Tab Mix Plus customizer, Adblock Plus ad blocking utility, Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer (bookmark synchronizer), DownThemAll! download enhancer, and Web Developer toolbar.

Firefox uses a sandbox security model, and limits scripts from accessing data from other web sites based on the same origin policy. It uses SSL/TLS to protect communications with web servers using strong cryptography when using the https protocol. It also provides support for web applications to use smartcards for authentication purposes.

Click here to view the embedded video.

The Mozilla Foundation offers a “bug bounty” to researchers who discover severe security holes in Firefox. Official guidelines for handling security vulnerabilities discourage early disclosure of vulnerabilities so as not to give potential attackers an advantage in creating exploits.

The reality on Internet is that there are people out there who want to steal your personal information. That’s why Firefox constantly refining the browser with security updates every 6-8 weeks to stay one step ahead.

Firefox security features include anti-phishing and anti-malware protection, one click site ID, protection from spyware, automatic security updates and more.

Because Firefox has fewer and less severe publicly known security vulnerabilities than Internet Explorer, improved security is often cited as a reason to switch from Internet Explorer to Firefox. [Sources: Wikipedia.org, Mozilla.com, YouTube.com]
